Roundtrip from Seattle, Washington

Explore the wilderness on a 7-night cruise aboard Celebrity Edge. You'll explore 5 ports and 2 days at sea.

Alaska is so much more than its legends and myths. Boasting lively farmer’s markets, modern art galleries, and fine dining, 21st-century Alaska blends the old and the new, and urban life with the great outdoors in towns and cities surrounded by wilderness. Journey through the wild terrain of Alaska and discover the natural wonders that await as the rugged beauty of this pristine frontier unfolds. Don't miss this unforgettable adventure!

Celebrity Edge is the first in a class of revolutionary ships designed to raise the bar on cruise vacations. The ship’s unique outward facing design allows guests to feel more immersed in each journey, and more connected to the sea around them. The re-imagined terrace pool deck provides travelers more spectacular views as the ship sails between ports and destinations, and the Resort Deck offers a Rooftop Garden with an urban “playscape” that is unlike any other outdoor space at sea. Relax in the outward facing asymmetrical pool, or have a picnic while watching a movie in the garden. The Magic Carpet, located on the starboard side of the ship, features a full bar with space for live music and plenty of comfortable seating. It has access from several decks and each provides a different experience from Dinner on the Edge to a luxury embarkation station with sea-level views. Guests can relax in the Solarium after a full day in port by grabbing a drink from the Spa Café & Juice Bar and lounging in the adult only pool.

Ports

Seattle

Seattle

With modernized cityscapes, gorgeous parks, and breathtaking waterfront views, Seattle remains high on the list of must-see destinations in the United States. Sample the Emerald City’s famous espresso (it is the birthplace of Starbucks, after all), visit its fresh, local markets, and tour the thriving art, tech, and foodie scenes that are scattered throughout its diverse neighborhoods. Located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, Seattle is also a fantastic city for those who enjoy outdoor recreational activities, such as hiking and kayaking.

The city is perfectly situated to embark on an Alaska cruise from Seattle. After spending a few days in this vibrant metropolitan city, you’ll experience the towering glaciers, rugged landscapes, and unique wildlife of the Last Frontier.

Alaska cruises from Seattle depart from Port of Seattle, Bell Street Cruise Terminal – Pier 66, located on Seattle's downtown waterfront. Taxis, buses, rideshares, and car rentals are available outside the terminal.

Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier

Admire the pristine, untouched natural beauty of Endicott Arm Fjord, a 30-mile stretch of water located at the southern end of the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness area. Experience breathtaking scenery as you sail past steep granite cliffs, floating icebergs, and cascading waterfalls on an Alaska cruise.

During your cruise down Endicott Arm, look for groups of adorable harbor seals that are often found lounging on chunks of ice or diving around the icy water. Your journey through this majestic waterway will end with a show-stopping visit to Dawes Glacier, where you’ll witness the thunderous roar of ice as it crashes into the sea during a calving display.

Inside Passage

The majestic landscapes of Alaska are an unmissable bucket-list experience for any adventurous traveler, and on an Alaska cruise, you won’t just hit the highlights like Juneau. From the comfort of your incredible cruise ship, you’ll sail across 500 miles of Alaskan wilderness known as the Inside Passage. This coastal waterway is filled with glacial mountains, lush pine forests, and unforgettable wildlife sightings.

During the best Inside Passage cruise, the summertime sunshine offers plentiful photo opportunities. You might see orcas and humpback whales from your stateroom on your way to destinations like Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point. Marvel at the remote, untouched wilderness where you can breathe in the mountain air and truly think. Sky-high icebergs and glaciers await.

Ketchikan

Ketchikan, Alaska

Allow the colorful wooden buildings of Ketchikan to welcome you to this seaside town, known as the salmon capital of the world. Enjoy a freshly-caught salmon bake for lunch or embark on a crab fishing excursion and see what you can haul in. Ketchikan boasts the largest collection of Northwest totem poles, which are fascinating works of art that depict Tlingit history and culture.

On a cruise to Ketchikan, your cruise ship will dock in the downtown area, parallel to Front Street. It’s an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and Creek Street. There’s a useful visitor information center on the quayside, with restrooms and several large souvenir shops.

Juneau, Alaska

In Alaska’s capital of Juneau, you’ll find yourself surrounded by mountain vistas and scenic waterfronts. A favorite spot for adventure seekers, Juneau boasts more hiking trails than roads, and is home to the magnificent Mendenhall Glacier, which is easily accessible on a hike through Tongass National Forest.

Juneau cruise ships dock at three terminals which run parallel to the downtown area. You can walk from any of the three to downtown Juneau. If you’ve booked a tour, you will be picked up from right outside the terminal. Taxis and local buses are plentiful here, too. If your ship is at the AJ Dock, the furthest from downtown, a shuttle is provided.

Skagway

Skagway, Alaska

Stop in Skagway, a small town where over 100,000 prospectors once panned for gold during the great Gold Rush of the 1890s. Visit the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park and learn more about this important era of American history. Board a vintage train on the historic White Pass and Yukon Route, grab a window seat, and admire Alaska’s breathtaking scenery.

There are two port docks in the town of Skagway for cruise ships. The Railroad Dock is directly south of the town along the Lynn Canal, and the Broadway Dock is about a five-minute walk from town at the foot of Main Street. Typically, larger cruise ships dock in the canal, and smaller ships will dock in the port in town. There are no facilities at either dock, as such, but you will find a helpful visitor information center on Broadway and Second Avenue, close to the terminus of the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway.

Victoria BC

Victoria, British Columbia

Victoria is known as “the garden city” for its lushness and its commitment to keeping the city beautiful. Head to Butchart Garden or Beacon Hill Park to enjoy nature during your time in port.

Of course, a little history lesson is another must while on a cruise to Victoria, BC. Tour the expertly maintained Craigdarroch Castle and the Parliament Buildings, or stop in the Royal BC Museum, a natural history museum dedicated to the history of human settlement in the region. There’s also the Emily Carr House, a museum dedicated to the life and works of the famous painter, Emily Carr. Victoria exudes an intellectualism where art galleries and afternoon tea await you, but so do long bicycle rides along the seafront. Stylish cafes and restaurants are modernizing the city, all while maintaining its signature look: something straight out of a postcard.

The Victoria port, called Ogden Point, is one of the busiest ports in all of Canada, with plans to grow and expand in the near future to accommodate growing cruise traffic. The port is currently more tailored toward deep water vessels, not just cruises.
